Courses dropped prior to 20% of the course being completed (based on start and end dates of the class) will not show on a transcript as an officially attempted class or have a grade assigned.
An officially attempted class is a class that's dropped after 20 percent of instruction is complete, and has the following consequences:
- No refund is provided
- The course remains on the students official transcript
- A final grade of W (withdrawal) is assigned
Officially attempted classes may affect your financial aid status and maintenance of satisfactory academic progress.
You may withdraw from your classes until 90% of the class is completed. Refer to the “Last Date to Drop” date in your student account under Academic Calendar Deadlines.
